I'm a twenty-nine year old Army wife currently living near a large Army post. I have an unhealthy obsession with Dr. Pepper, the Internet, cloth diapers, and ridiculous TV shows. I'm a stay at home mom to two beautiful daughters, AJ and Amelia. We also have a 6 year old beagle named Abby who is as dumb as a box of rocks.

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

Welcome back to MilSpouse Friday Fill-In! Link up at Wife of a Sailor.

1. What is the longest road trip you've ever taken?

Sophomore year of college my roommates and I drove from our college to Tempe, AZ to visit a friend at Arizona State University for spring break. It was 1,500 miles of driving for a vacation. Technically the longest trip I have been on was when we moved from Ft. Hood to Ft. Lewis, 2,356 miles of driving, but since it was a move, I don't count it as a road trip, even thought we did the touristy things along the way.

2. Do you collect anything? Tell us a bit about it.

I always wanted to collect something when I was younger, but never really got into anything in particular. The collection that lasted the longest for me was shot glasses. Those came in handy in college. ;)

3. What is your favorite part about being an adult?

Um, I can do whatever I want.

4. What song brings a tear to your eye?

Forever Young by Bob Dylan because it was on the playlist that D made for right after AJ was born. I banned the song from our house for a while because I couldn't hold it together.

5. Describe your first plane ride (how old you were, where you were heading, etc).

I don't remember. The first place ride that I remember was when we flew to Orlando to go to Disney World when I was a sophomore in high school. I remember it vividly because I blew chunks all over the place. (Yes, I'm super cool like that.)

  3. Blowing chunks... not fun! I hate riding on planes, btw. Especially with Levi along, so hard to keep him entertained!

  4. I love "Forever Young".. a tad bit too much come to think of it. I love ALL the old and new songs that come out, I love to watch the movie with Mel Gibson, and I even got a tattoo that says "Forever Young" a couple months ago :) Lol, atleast I'm not in denial that it's probably too much!
