It's true that the snow ruined our plans of having our household goods delivered today, however that snow could hardly be considered "Snowpocalyptic" by any standards (unless you count the standards of most of the Southeastern US).
As of 8 pm last night school was canceled for today, and at 7 am sharp this morning we received a phone call from the movers informing us that our stuff was "snowed in" and couldn't be taken out of storage today. The military based was completely shut doen by 8 am.
You can imagine then, my surprise when I looked out the window to find a whole 1/2" of snow on the ground.
I'm not kidding around here people. It's been snowing all morning and I can still see grass out back. Do you think that people here may have overreacted a bit?
Anyway, we've been assured that our things will be here tomorrow, and as of right now we're still on with the cable and internet installation this afternoon.
I'm not sure how well that will go since we don't have a TV to hook up to the cable to test it. I guess I'll continue to hope for the best and expect the worst!
And finally, in true fashion, I'm a day late in saying it, but Miss AJ celebrated her 10 month birthday yesterday by making her first significant attempts at walking! Happy Birthday, little booger! I can't believe how fast she's growing up already!
Hopefully I'll be posting from my computer tomorrow so I can finally get some of my pictures from the last month up!
