We've only lived here since June, but since we have moved so many times over the past few years, we're pretty pro at getting set up and decorated (we work with what we have, read: Army things) in no time at all! Our furniture is pretty much all mix and match because sometimes things go in different rooms and then at the next house its all in the same room together!
This is the view straight ahead when you walk in our front door. That's our "kitchen" table, "bookcase" which now boasts all our glassware and our back door.
This is the view of our couch and loveseat, along with the ottoman and end tables. I love the end tables, but the couch and loveseat are so close to wearing out their welcome that I can't wait to move and get new ones!
This view is of the sofa, looking to the left from the front entryway. The entertainment center and chairs on on the wall to the left.
There's the entertainment center that I hate, along with the two chairs that I "reupholstered" and the polka-dot Ikea pillows.
This is a view of the "kitchen" table from the sofa. We *heart* our table.
This bookcase is where we display
Well folks, that's it! Our living room!
I loved it :) I'm also very impressed that you just moved in in June. My and my soldier just got married and since he knew he would be deploying soon, all we had in our living room was one chaise lounge and Army equiptment. But that was nothing compared to our "kitchen table". Hubby didn't want to buy one since I'd be going back to my mom's house during his deployment so (for the sake of playing beer pong) our makeshift table was a bathroom door laid on top of 2 dining room chairs.. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been taking photos of our house like crazy recently, because we just moved in and I know everyone back home is dying to see:) I am SO jealous of your kitchen table and couch, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI just read your profile and my husband is from middle of nowhere missouri and his dad was army :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a terrific living space. I especially love your glassware.
ReplyDeleteToo cool. I love that table too!
